Asian Style Plant Based Mince

Hoisin flavoured plant based mince is served over rice with tangy kimchi.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 300g packet frozen Birds Eye Plant Based Mince
  • 2 small spring onions, cut into 4cm lengths
  • ¼ cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 cup jasmine rice, cooked following packet directions
  • ⅓ cup vegan kimchi, for serving

Method

STEP 1
Heat oil in a large non stick frypan over medium-high heat. Add frozen Birds Eye Plant Based Mince and cook for 8 minutes, stirring often.
STEP 2
Add spring onion and cook for a further 2 minutes until tender.
STEP 3
Add hoisin sauce and cook for a further 1 minute. Spoon plant based mince over cooked rice. Top with kimchi and serve.
Tips
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds when serving.
