Ingredients
- 1 chorizo sausage, thinly sliced
- 500g jar Leggo’s Pasta Bake with Creamy Tomato and Mozzarella
- 350-400g spiral pasta
- 1 small red onion, cut into thin wedges
- 1 small zucchini, thinly sliced
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Crusty bread, for serving
Leggo's Creamy Tomato and Mozzarella Pasta Bake 500g
Method
STEP 1Cook chorizo in a small non stick frypan until golden. Transfer to a 2½ litre capacity baking dish.
STEP 2
Empty contents of Leggo’s Pasta Bake into baking dish. Fill jar 1½ times with hot tap water, add to baking dish and stir well to combine.
STEP 3
Add uncooked pasta , zucchini and onion and mix together until pasta is covered in the sauce.
STEP 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 25 minutes or until pasta is cooked. Remove from oven and stir again, pressing pasta into the sauce. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven and cook for a further 10 minutes or until cheese is golden and bubbling. Serve with green salad.
Tips
Use a combination of tasty and mozzarella cheese instead of only mozzarella for added flavour.
