Air Fryer Tuna Pockets

Crunchy golden pillows of sliced bread encasing a delicious, cheesy tuna filling.

Ingredients

  • 95g can John West Tuna Tempters - Chilli, well drained
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated carrot
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon grated tasty cheese
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped spring onion
  • 3 slices soft, fresh bread of choice, crusts removed

Method

STEP 1
Combine John West Tuna, carrot, mayonnaise, cheese and spring onion in a bowl.
STEP 2
Roll each slice of bread to lightly flatten.
STEP 3
Top one half of each bread slice with tuna mixture. Fold over remaining half of bread and using a fork, press along the edges to encase the filling.
STEP 4
Place tuna pockets into an air fryer basket and cook at 180°C for 7 minutes or until golden and crunchy.
Tips
Lightly coat the bread pocket with extra mayonnaise before cooking for a more golden result. Use your favourite John West Tuna Tempter when making this recipe.
