Penne Puttanesca


Spicy pasta sauce full of flavour to tingle the taste buds.

Serves: 4


  • 500g penne pasta
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • 3 rashers short cut bacon, cut into thin strips
  • 350g jar Leggo's Stir Through Sauce – Tomato, Olive and Chilli
  • ½ x 45g can John West Anchovy Fillets in Olive Oil, chopped


Step 1

Cook pasta following packet directions. Drain and set aside to keep warm.

Step 2

Heat oil in large frypan, add spring onions and bacon, cook for 1-2 minutes. Pour in Leggo's Stir Through Sauce and heat through. Stir in John West Anchovy Fillets.

Step 3

Spoon sauce over pasta and serve immediately.

Tasty Tip!

For an extra hot kick, add ½ cup hot salami strips in step 2.
