Creamy Tomato And Chicken Pasta


A quick and easy mid-week pasta meal using Leggo’s Sundried tomato pesto.

Prep time:5 mins

Cook time:15 mins

Serves: 4


  • 500g dry shell pasta
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 skinless chicken breast, sliced
  • 190g jar Leggo’s Pesto – Sundried Tomato
  • 300ml thickened cream
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts, toasted
  • ¼ cup basil leaves, for garnish
  • Shaved parmesan cheese, for serving


Step 1

Cook pasta following packet directions, drain.

Step 2

Heat oil in a large non stick frypan and cook chicken for 2-3 minutes or until browned.

Step 3

Add Leggo’s Pesto, cream and pasta to frypan and stir until combined.

Step 4

Sprinkle over pine nuts and garnish with basil leaves. Serve with shaved parmesan.

Tasty Tip!

Any type of short pasta can be used in this recipe.
