Salami, Pumpkin And Fetta Pizza


A rich balsamic flavoured pizza base topped with salami, pumpkin and fetta

Serves: 4


  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1/3 cup balsamic dressing
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • ¼ cup Leggo’s Tomato Paste
  • 10 slices mild salami, cut into half
  • 1 cup shaved butternut pumpkin (see tip)
  • Olive oil for drizzling
  • 100g fetta cheese
  • Fresh parsley leaves, for garnish


Step 1

Place flour into a bowl and make a well in the centre. Lightly beat together balsamic dressing, garlic and egg. Pour into well and mix with a fork until a soft dough forms.

Step 2

Turn the dough onto a floured board and knead lightly. Roll into a rectangle. Place onto a greased baking tray.

Step 3

Spread Leggo’s Tomato Paste evenly over pizza base. Fold each of the halves of salami into half, pinching them together firmly and place onto pizza. Arrange pumpkin on top and drizzle with oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes.

Step 4

Remove pizza from oven and crumble over fetta cheese. Garnish with parsley leaves and serve immediately.

Tasty Tip!

Use a potato peeler to shave the pumpkin into thin pieces. This ensures the pumpkin cooks evenly and quickly.
